The Building & Construction Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation committed to making the construction industry more inclusive, diverse and accessible. We support people from all backgrounds – including young people, women, and gender-diverse individuals – to enter and thrive in construction careers.
Our support is focused on individuals experiencing financial hardship, social disadvantage, or systemic exclusion – those who may otherwise be locked out of opportunity.
We provide scholarships, mentoring, tailored financial support, and access to work experience, vocational exposure, hands-on trade experiences, and direct pathways into training, employment, and the broader industry. By working in partnership with industry, RTOs, and community organisations, we help create real opportunities – with the right support around each person.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to transition into a new career, we’re here to support you.
